Let’s Welcome Elle J Rossi today, a very interesting author!

The Power of Magick

Elle J Rossi

“The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.” ~ Eden Phillpotts

Great quote, but if this is truly the case, I don’t want my wits to be any sharper than they are now. I love the idea of magick. If I figured everything out, what a lackluster world I’d live in. I’ll take my sparkling pink bubble full of iridescent glitter any day. Ignorance is not only be bliss, it can be full of wonder and enchantment.

“If we are to have magical bodies, we must have magical minds.” ~ Wayne Dyer

The sky is the limit if we put our mind to it. I’ll add heart in there as well because I think it’s equally as important. A magical heart and mind, one that is open, receptive and diligent, can conquer the world. It may take baby steps to reach that goal, but the reward will be oh, so sugary sweet.

The initial sparkle in the eye caught from across the room. The goose bumps created by flesh on flesh. The anticipation of the first kiss. The first bite. The wondering. The waiting. The knowing. The thumping beat of two hearts. Consuming heat. Sighs. Gasps. Tears. Laughter. Venom. Sugar. Unwavering embrace. Time. Understanding. Excited contentment. True love. That is what magick is all about.

“That’s the thing with magic. You’ve got to know it’s still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you.” ~ Charles de Lint

Imagination is the key. The impossible is always possible with a bit of magick and a lot of belief. Turn the ordinary into something extraordinary. Make the most of any situation. Put a fresh and wickedly tantalizing spin on the mundane. Paint those lips red and create your own enchanting world. The world will know you have a secret, but you decide who gets to enter your exquisite realm.

**I’d love to hear about a magical moment you’ve experienced. Let us in on your secret. And in honor of Crimson Beat and A Celtic Tapestry, I’m sharing the recipe for a special cocktail!
